PRESCHOOL INFORMATION

Big Rock Elementary is committed to the young learner, and provides programs for both three and four-year-olds.

Our program implements a research-based curriculum focused on helping students develop independence, problem solving skills, and oral language skills.   We strive to provide a warm, safe, and engaging environment to support our young learners.  

We currently have eight preschool classes and Highly qualified teachers. 

When enrolling in our Three-Year- Old Preschool program it will guarantee a spot in our Four-Year-Old program the following year.

Preschool and Kindergarten Registration

For the 2024-2025 school year

Follow the below steps:

  1. Packet Pick-Up

    • Registration packets can be picked up the week of March 18th-22nd from 8:00am-4:00pm at the Big Rock office

       

      • This allows you time to complete all of the required paperwork at home prior to registration night.

  2. Attend Registration Night

    • Thursday, April 4, 2024

      • Kindergarten Registration 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

      • 3 year old Mini-Sampler 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm

      • 4 year old Mini-Garten and GSRP 5:45 pm - 6:30 pm

    • Parents must bring

      • Completed registration packet

      • Child's Birth Certificate

      • Child's Immunization Records

      • Two (2) Proofs of Residency

        • Such as a Drivers License, Utility Bill, Voters Registration, Lease Agreement, Insurance Form, Purchase Agreement or a Moving Bill.

      • Custody Papers (if applicable)

    • During registration night you will be able to meet the teachers, view the classrooms, submit and review your completed registration packets and answer any questions you have!

    • If you are not able to attend the registration night, please drop off your completed registration packet to the Big Rock Elementary Office anytime after April 4, 2024.

Mini-Sampler Preschool

  • 3 Years old by September 1, 2024

  • Potty Trained

  • 2 Days a week 

  • Cost: $350 for the year 

  • The program runs: 

    • Mon. & Wed. from 9:00 am to 11:30 am or Tues. & Thurs. from 9:00 am to 11:30 am

Mini-Garten Preschool - HALF DAY

  • 4 Years Old by September 1, 2024

  • 4 Days A Week

  • Cost: $675 for the year

  • The program runs:

    • Monday through Thursday from 12:15 pm to 3:15 pm

What age does my child need to be to attend the three or four-year-old preschool programs?

3's- Three years by Sept. 1st 

4's- Four years old by Sept. 1st or before Dec. 1st. (Same as Kindergarten) they can waiver if they turn 4 between the months of September and December.
